The "magic" vehicle is ihe Aircycle a type of .hover craft that can scoot eashy over land, water, snow, ice or swamp at speeds up to 40 m. p.h. without leaving a trace simply because it never nev-er touches the surface over which it -travels. The Aircycle floats six to eight inches above the ur-faee ur-faee oh a cushion of air that will support up to 400 lbs. of passengers or gear and yet exerts less pressure on the standing on the same spot. . Since there are no wheels, tracks or skis touching the surface, the Aircycle has an almost frictionless .ride, allowing al-lowing the pilot to glide, twist, spin and manuver with almost total freedom and without concern for marring the countryside. The air cushion and forward for-ward propulsion of the vehicle vehi-cle are both generated by a single vertical propeller and 33 h.p. two-cycle engine. Guidance is provided by a two-point aerodynamic steering steer-ing system utilizing horizontal horizon-tal air foil trim control and thrust spoilers for speed control. con-trol. Operation is so simple, say its manufacturers, that even a child can master it in a few minutes.
