Jackson were united in marriage on August 9th in a Movely garden wedding held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Kelling, with Pastor Neal . Foster officiating. .' Mrs. Jackson was beauti- "fully attired in a simple off-white brushed linen gown ";of an old-fashioned design. . She carried a bouquet of yellow rose buds and white ;stephanoitis. The bride was -;attended by her sister, Miss Niccole Kelling who wore a green and white sun-back dress, floor length and she, too, carried a bouquet of white xarnations with yellow rose buds. Mr. Wendell Stocks attend- ed the groom, with both gentlemen attired in dark trousers with white tuxedo jackets and ruffle-tux shirts in the bride's colors of green and yellow. Misses Jennifer Stocks, Angie and Gina Nelson, daughters of Mr. ' and Mrs. Bradley Stocks and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nelson were the bride's flower girls. Master Sammy Akins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip J. Akins of Denver, Colorado, served as the couple's ring-bearer. Mrs. Kelling was simply attired in a white floor length pique -with brown trim sun-back sun-back dress and Mrs. Jackson was lovely in a floor length empire style orange summer silk. A reception was held immediately im-mediately following the ceremony, cere-mony, also in the Kelling garden, with the refreshment table centered by a fabulous three-tiered cake baked and decorated by Mrs. Jackson, as a gift to the happy couple. Melon trays, fruit sherbert cakes, nuts, mints, coffee and punch completed the refreshments. refresh-ments. The guest book table as well as the cake table were graced with lovely bouquets of green, yellow, and white bouquets of garden and hot house floral arrangements. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Mark Simmons, Tammy Key, Kim Ing, Latrece Winn and Jody Jackson. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Phillip J. Akins, the bride's aunt and uncle of Denver, Colorado and their' three sons, Sammy, Zachary, and Judge; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph V. Kelling Jr. the bride's aunt and uncle of Montrose, Colorado and their sons, Jeff and Bruce; Mrs. Ralph V. Kelling Sr., the bride's grandmother, also of Montrose, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jackson, the groom's father of rock Springs, Wyoming; Wyo-ming; Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Loveridge, the groom's aunt and uncle of Fruita, Colorado. The newly-weds honeymooned honey-mooned in Southern California and are now at home at Steele's Apartments in Moab, John is employed at the Moab City Market and Tracie will complete her senior year of high school. |
