Show State Forestry Department i Notes Changes in Moab ! The State Forestry Depart- J ment announced this week I that Richard Buehler will be ! replacing Ed Story as area forester for Southeastern Ut- l ah, including Carbon, Emery, J Grand and San Juan Counties. J As such, he will be responsible for fire protection and forest J management on state and f private lands in the area. i Mr. Buehler, who is 31 3 years old, graduated from Utah State University in 1973 Jand worked for 2 years in his home town of Heber, Ut., as I assistant area forester. Prev- ious to that time he served 5 years in the U. S. Air Force. He has a wife. Rhonda, and 2-vcar old daughter. Necsha Kay. Mr. Story has been transferred transfer-red to the main office in Salt Lake City where he is fire management staff officer. Mr. Buehler would like to remind anyone who has forest land that he is available for help with any conservation problems they might have. He may be contacted at 259-6316 or at the forestry office in the Arches Building. The forestry office w ill also have tree seedlings available in April at a cost of S10 per 100. These may be used only for conservation or Christmas tree purposes, and may not be used for landscaping or resale. Several varieties are available and may be ordered by phone at the Moab office. The seedlings come from a nursery in Logan. |
