Show Execs Visited To View Industry Thirty oil industry executives execu-tives visited Utah to get first-hand information on coal and oil shale potential in solving the nation's energy problems. Sponsored by the American Petroleum Institute, Division of Exploration and Production, the oil men came from as far away as Washington, D.C., Texas and Minnesota to visit Carbon County coal mines and discuss long term energy development problems. Following a tour of the Sunnyside Mine, State Representative Repre-sentative John M. Garr met with the group to answer questions concerning Utah's future as a natural resource stati Arthur O. Spaulding, Gen- eral Manager of the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Assoc- iation in Denver, said he was 5 impressed with the sophisiti- ( cation of the mining operation and with the willingness of V mining officials to discuss the energy situation.
