Show State Receives Share Of Forest Receipts J1 Checks for receipts from uses of National Forest land have been mailed to states in the Intermountain Region of the Forest Service, according to Claude Elton, Deputy Regional Forester for Administration. Admini-stration. The money represents repre-sents 25 percent of the receipts from grazing, recreation, minerals, min-erals, and other land uses, as well as collecting from the sale of timber, during the fiscal year ending last June. 30. Mr. Elton explained that money from the 25 percent fund is disbursed by the states to counties in which National Forests are located.
