Show Highway Patrol Investigates Accidents The Utah Highway Patrol investigated 3 accidents during the week ending June 18. On Wednesday, June 13 a 1973 Toyota driven by Chester Kimsey of Eagle, Idaho collided with a 1966 Buick driven driv-en by Aldo lleidebrecht of Hutchinson, Kan. at Crescent Junction. Kimsey was cited for failure to yield the right of way. He was treated at Allen Memorial Hospital Hos-pital for chest injuries. No other persons were injured. About $1200 damage was done to the Kimsey vehicle, and S600 damage to the lleidebrecht vehicle. Asemi truck owned by Provisioners Frozen Foods Express jack-nifed jack-nifed 15 miles north of Moab on Highway 163 on Thursday, June 14 causing injury to the driver, Kenneth R.Dean 38, of Kirtland. Wash. Wash, at about 4:50 p.m. Troocer Ron Wood reported the accident is still under investigation as to the cause. Dean suffered internal injuries injur-ies in the accident and is being treated at Allen Al-len Memorial Hospital. Jane Katherine Raunch, 39, of San Diego, C alif. was treated for minor injuries injur-ies Friday, JunelS after the 1971 Scout she was driving veered off Highway High-way 163 about 16 miles north of Moab. The accident was investigated investiga-ted by James Sauls. |
