J .JsV; i:..xJji, -.-a mem Mr. Shields stated that signs were broken and tipped over, glass was broken and in one instance snown above, a large picnic table was set on fire. in the area. In one incident inci-dent a picnic table was set on fire and burned beyond repair. Mr. Shields also stated that vandalism to the Indian In-dian Ruins in other parts of the district is still a problem with recent reports re-ports of potting, pushing over ruin walls, and writing names over Indian In-dian writing. Mr. Shields is asking all visitors to the Natural Natur-al Resource Lands to report re-port any act of vandalism that they witness to either the BLM office or the local sheriff. This sort of damage is very costly to the taxpayer tax-payer and, with the help of concerned citizens, much of it can be stopped. |
