Show Leaders Come fo ,e f In Little League Ac0n At the end of the first week of little league play at the Moab Summer Recreation Rec-reation Dept., Beeman Drilling stands in first place with a 3-0 record. Atlas Minerals is close behind with two wins and one loss at this early point. Play on Tuesday, June 12 saw TraveLodge edge out Elks 5 to 4. Beeman Drilling shut out Millers Supermarket 3 to 0. First Western National Bank won over FirstSec-urity FirstSec-urity Bank 15 to 6 on Wednesday night. Atlas Minerals blasted Elks 22 to 3 infour innings on the same night. On Thursday, June 14, Beeman Drilling won its second game of the season sea-son beating City Market 16 to 6. Millers edged out TraveLodge 11 to 10 to finish the week with a 1 win - 1 loss record. City Market won handily handi-ly over TraveLodge 25 to 7 on Friday, June 15. Beeman Drilling beat First Security Bank 12 to 2. There are approximately approxi-mately 120 boys divided among the eight little league teams for this summer, according to Glen Richeson, Summer Recreation director.
