Show Moab Museum Louncfies Membership Drive A membership campaign was launched this week by the Moab Museum, at the close of the fiscal year for the .institution. Directors commended Curator Cur-ator Billy Provonsha for another an-other outstanding job with special monthly exhibits during dur-ing 1987. Particular commendation com-mendation was given an interesting in-teresting gun collection, and a unique old fashioned Christmas Christ-mas display of antique gifts and tree decor. The Moab Museum is free to the public, supported mainly main-ly through membership contributions, con-tributions, profits from book sales, and some assist for the Recreation Board. Expense to operate the institution are minimal, involving salary for one attendant and a small assist as-sist for the Curetor. Contributions last year made it possible to keep the Museum open daily throughout through-out the winter months, and it is hoped similar support will be extended this year. Membership available include in-clude a grade school membership member-ship card, which includes 9 movies, 25 cents; high school membership, 50 cents; annual membership for 18 year olds and over $1.50; supporting members, $5.00; contributing members, $10,00; sustaining members, $25.00, and Doner members, $59 per year. In addition life memberships, $100, Founder memberships, $500, and Patrons, $1,000, all in lump payments, are available avail-able . Residents are invited to visit vis-it the Moab Museum and see the progress that has been made, then choose their contribution con-tribution category. |
