Show County Views Landscape Proposal at Airport A landscaping project mav be launched at the Canyon-lands Canyon-lands Airport terminal, if a cost survey proves feasible. A request for the landscaping was made to the Grand county coun-ty Commission Monday by manager of the airport, Royal Roy-al Holter. The 'Commission authorized him to plan the project, and figure the cost of a sprinkling system, before proceeding. Grand county Sanitarian, Jack Jacques, reported to the Commission on the controversial controver-sial Beaver Pond in Spanish Valley. Mr. Jacques said Mr. Lynn Thatcher, director of the Utah Department of Environmental En-vironmental Health, had ad vised the county to adopt the State code by reference rules and regulations on waste disposal. dis-posal. The Commission will investigate the code. Mr. Jacques Jac-ques also reported on water issues at the Dan Holyoak and Moab Lane properties. The Commission reversed their decision not to advertise adver-tise in a State travel magazine, maga-zine, and purchased a two-page two-page ad in the publication in the amount of $566. One dissenting dis-senting vote was cast by Commissioner Ralph Miller. Nick Murphy and Delbert Hasemeyer met with the Commission Com-mission to discuss repairs of the Mineral Canyon road. The Commission agreed that unless the county can obtain help fro mthe State, or from Federal funds, they can do no more work on the road.
