Show ALPS STRIKE CONFIRMED. : ' Continued good reports come to ihe I local offices of the White Alps Mining I company in this city. The latest infor- 1 mat Ion from this Rosebud proposition Is to the effect that the report of the first rich strike Is being fully substantiated by later developments. It seems that under the direction of Superintendent Gobs the ledge has been stripped for a distance of more than 300 feet, while the width of the entire ledge for this distance Is from two to six feet. The .ore is in the sulphides and carries big values In both gold and silver, while the initial point of discovery Is only a short distance dis-tance from the end lines of the Brown Palace properties. This leads to the general gen-eral impression throughout the camp by all who have seen the discovery that the ledge which shows so strongly in the White Alps is the same as that which has been proved up for several hundred feet by the McDonald and Parkhurst crowd In the adjoining ground. |
