The etory is well known and well liked, and the play, as presented by this company, has mu-h to commend It. The love story Is simply and prettily portrayed, por-trayed, and enjoyment is added by the singing of ever-popular Scotch melodies by an accomplished quartette. a a Miss Roselee Knott, who is soon to make a tour of Australia, will include in her repertoire several of her famous successes. suc-cesses. Bright and catchy music, rendered by voices that can sing and the best dressed chorus on the stage, makes this the real theatrical treat of the season, and the local theater-goers should not miss it. The company appeared sucess-fully sucess-fully in New York and Chicago this sea-eon sea-eon and the same cast and production are at the Grand all this week. . The second week's vaudeville bill at the Lyric continues to attract crowded housea, while tha performances mrit the liberal applause that Is given. The bill Is well-balanced and sufficiently varied to please the lover of every branch of vaudeville. Some of the numbers are particularly pleasing. |
