Show GARBAGE QUESTION AT LAST SETTLED; GOES TO DAMEERGER s At the meeting of the Sanitary committee com-mittee of the City Council, the Health Commissioner, J. E. Langford, and Herman Her-man Bamberger, the garbage problem of the city was solved yesterday. Lang-ford Lang-ford and Bamberger , both submitted f impositions, but the one offered by he latter was accepted, and wijl be recommended in the report of the committee com-mittee to the City Council. . Mr. Bamberger is the owner of land between Ninth and Tenth North streets which be wishes filled. He will build a spur track to the land and fill the place up, charging the city nothing for hauling. haul-ing. This will probably be filled up by. October 1, when he will commence hauling the garbage to a place along the Bamberger railroad. He will charge $7.50 a load for hauling the garbage away. Mr. Langford 's proposal was to haul the garbage away for $10 a carload. |
