Show MEET STUDIES 1 ILLSJKSTOCK MHre than 100 members of tha Intermountaln Livestock Sanitary association attended second-day sessions of the thirteenth annual meeting Tuesday at the Newhouse hotel. Prominent veterinarians from 11 western states participated In the program. Including Dr. M. P. Chapman Chap-man of Boise, Idaho, who discussed hog cholera and Its control, and Dr. W. A. Altken of Merrill, Iowa, who outlined problems In swine sanitation and disease control. Dr. W. T. Huffman of the United States bureau of animal Industry was a principal speaker on the morning program, discussing the problem of livestock poisoning by plants. Dr. L. R. Vawter of Reno, Nev., reported on research progress prog-ress In vims diseases and Dr. R. F, Bourne of Fort Collins, Colo., discussed dis-cussed recent advances In the field of physiology, wlrile Dr. Aitken took up the problem of common deficiencies and Intoxications In cattle In the corn belt. . Reports of officers were made and election of new officers was to follow. The annual banquet la scheduled for 7:30 p. m. Tuesday. -"Mrs. f. L.
