Show - State Will Aid School's Mining Industry Study , One hundred and ten high J, schools throughout the state will have facilities for the study of Utah's leading Industry mining under a plan sponsored by the state board of public Instruction, the Utah chapter of the American Mining congress, the Utah State Agricultural college and the Utah engineering experiment station. At West high school in Salt Lake City, Charles H. Skidmore, state superintendent of public instruction, instruc-tion, said Thursday, a cabinet has I- been installed with ore specimens provided by Utah mining companies and selected and prepared by Dr. S. Frederick Ravitz, director of the Utah engineering experiment station. |
