Show Report Due on Training For Crippled Children A special committee, appointed by the Salt Lake City board of education to examine the advisability advisa-bility and feasibility of providing a home and specialized training for crippled children who are unable un-able to attend school, will report on their findings "some time before be-fore work on the 1941 budget is completed," board officials said Monday. A committee representing the Utah Exceptional Child Guidance association met with the board of education October 10, 1939, and requested that such a project be put Into effect. It was pointed out that the 1939 school census showed 118 crippled children are not receiving re-ceiving schooling because of their inability to travel to schools. |
