Show TWO PAROLEES iHELDATOGDEN OGDEN. July II l Two parolees pa-rolees of the Utah state penitentiary were held in city jail Monday on open charges after reportedly robbing rob-bing an automobile company Saturday Satur-day night and staging a daylight holdup Sunday. Reid Burrell. 23, and Harvey Dal-ton, Dal-ton, both of Ogden, were captured Sunday by Police Sergeant L. M. Hilton and Chauffeur C. E. Beckett after the alleged holdup men abandoned aban-doned the automobile and ran into a hay field. Hilton said the pair Saturday night reportedly stole a new automobile auto-mobile from the L. H. Strong Motor company. Sunday, he said, they drove the car into Jerry's service station, Burrell drew a pistol and forced Gene Chilton, attendant, to give them money from the caah register. James Nelson of Ogden found a loaded pistol near the haystack where the pair were captured. Hilton Hil-ton aaid it was identified aa the weapon used in the holdup. Officers said Hyrum E. Lund Identified Burrell as the man who on July S forced him out of his automobile, au-tomobile, which was later used in the robbery of the Stimson market. Burrell has been sought by police since that time. |
