Show BLOOD IS GIVEN PROBEDEMANO Official Utah apparently had washed its hands Monday of a demand de-mand by the Price chamber of commerce com-merce for a grand jury Investigation Investiga-tion of atate departmenta and the legislature. Governor Henry H. Blood said he had acknowledged, without comment, com-ment, receipt of a copy of the chamber's resolution calling for a Jury probe In place of the projected but unmaterlaliied Investigation by a state committee. Attorney General Joseph Chez apparently ap-parently closed the door to any action ac-tion by his office when he said Saturday Sat-urday the proper procedure for the Price chamber, if it wishes a jury probe, would be to gather evidence and present it to the district court there. Under a Utah law. only a district judge may call a grand jury aes-sion. |
