Show Colorado Teams May Join Loop Colorado, Utah and Idaho may be united in a junior college athletic conference if plans proposed by C. G. Houston, dean of the Grand Junction State Junior college at Grand Junction. Colo., prove acceptable ac-ceptable to Jayaee leaders of the three states. Houston proposes an eastern division di-vision of five Colorado schools, similar sim-ilar to the Utah division of four and the Idaho division of three schools now playing as the Intermountain Junior College conference. The proposed pro-posed eastern group would consist of Grand Junction, Fort Lewis Agricultural Agri-cultural college at Hesperus, Trinidad Trini-dad junior college at Trinidad, Pueblo Pueb-lo junior college at Pueblo and one or two colleges yet to be established at Lamar and Sterling. Grand Junction has proven a powerful foe in basketball and football foot-ball competition with Utah colleges during the past three years. |
