Show 'Round-the-World Airmail Near With U. S. Plane Link to Asia WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 (UP) Extension of transpacific air-mail air-mail service) direct to Asia will make it possible to send a letter around the world by air this summer, postoffice officials said today. Postmaster General Jamas A Farley announced that the first flight on ths new through service from the United Statu to China will leave San Francisco on March 24, weather permitting.
