Show " Death Takes Man Who Sent Light Into Salt Lake Homes ""V j . 1 Veteran Official of Power Company Succumbs William Henry Stevenson Jr, 48, who had sent light to most Salt Lake City homes during the past IS years, was dead Tuesday. Employed by the Utah Power and Light company In 1912, when they usumed control of all lighting facilities In this section, Mr. Stevenson Steven-son had been director of the service application division since that time. All applications for light and power service since that time had been handled by him. 2 Mr. Stevenson, who resided at 681 Bryan avenue, died at 8 a. m. in a local hospital of a complicated sinus infection. A native of Salt Lake City, he waa born July 16, 1887, a son of William H. and Jane Bourne Stevenson. Hs received his education in Salt Lake City schools and graduated from the University of Utah, majoring in business. After graduation he served from 1908 until 1911 in the New Zealand L D. S. mission. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada Grimsdell Stevenson; his father; a son, William G. Stevenson; three sisters, Mrs. A. L Hansen, Mrs. Henry Allsworth and Miss Mabel Stevenson, and a brother, WILLIAM H. STEVENSON JR. Illness proves fatal George L Stevenson, all of Salt Laks Clty |
