Show SCHOOL WILL HONOR STATE ROAD LEADER . E. E. How, a member of .the iliti highway commission, will be honored Friday at the annual Lincoln school "birthday" celebration, celebra-tion, aa the first principal of the school at 601 East Thirty-fourth South street, Mr. J. W. Larsen, president of the parent-teacher association, announced Tuesday. The program will feature a combined patriotic and school anniversary an-niversary theme, Mrs. Larsen said. Dr. Calvin & Smith, superintendent super-intendent of Granite school district, dis-trict, will be guest speaker. Mrs. George Q. Cannon, president presi-dent of the Utah -State Congress of Parents and Teachers, will conduct con-duct the traditional candle-lighting ceremony. C P. Rockwood la also scheduled to speak. M. H. Webb, principal of the school, will be toaatmaster and Glen Seal, master of ceremonies. Mrs. Larsen is being assisted with the arrangements by Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Eardley, vice president of the P.-T. A., and Mrs. Fred Lind-beclc |
