Show U.'s Pharmacy Dean Reports Telegram Leased Wire PROVO, Nov. 14 The University Univer-sity of Utah school of pharmacy now has 280 students enrolled and, with addition of a new beginning-pharmacy beginning-pharmacy laboratory and other facilities fa-cilities during the past year, can boast of having one of the most up-to-date physical plants in Its field in the United States, according accord-ing to Dr. Li. The school ha obtained a $3000 research grant for studying insecticide! in-secticide! properties of rotenoids, natural occuring substances from plants that are considered in many ways superior to synthetic insecticides in-secticides such as DDT because they are nontoxic. The curriculum of the school haa been modernized, on the basis of recommendation from the American Ameri-can Council on Pharmaceutical Education, and official expect a delegation to visit some time during dur-ing the winter quarter for the purpose pur-pose of accrediting the school for a full four years if it is found satisfactory. sat-isfactory.
