Show $600,000 Mailed Utah Beet Men OGDEN. Not. 14 Wt Sugar beet grower in Idaho, Utah and Oregon will receive approximately $8,280,000 from the Amalgamated Sugar Co. for about 75 of th crop which waa delivered from the beginning of harvest in early October Oc-tober until Oct. 30, it was announced an-nounced Monday by H. A. Ben-nine, Ben-nine, company president. Checks are now in the mail. Augmenting the company's psy-ment, psy-ment, which was from $9 to 89.28 a ton, according to averag sugar content, growers in the three states will receive about 82.250,-000 82.250,-000 from the U. 8. department of agriculture for the conditional payment pay-ment as provided in the sugar act, fund for which are derived from the excise tax on ugar.
