Show ICE CARNIVAL AT LOGAN POSTPONED ... NO ICE LOGAN The ice carnival slated here for Jan. 9, 10 and 11 was 'postponed Friday to some later date in January because be-cause of, the mild weather conditions, it was reported following follow-ing a meeting- at the chamber of commerce earlier in the morning:. Another change was made, that the site In all probability will be at the Utah State Agricultural college stadium! instead of Memorial park, because of dressing facilities facil-ities and better seating arrangements. Th carnival is the first of centennial events planned for Utah in 1947. C. Lester Pocock, member of the state centennial committee, attended the meeting. Other plans will bej announced later, as soon as Glen Worthington, chairman, who is out of town, returns. r BASKETBALL World-Famous Harlem GLOBETROTTERS vs. " SALT LAKE SHERIFFS JORDAN HIGH GYM SATURDAY DEC 28TH IrVwUminary at 7:30 p. m.
