Show Worker Treated For Inhaling Refrigerator Gas Chester Black. 53, 1203 W. 4th South, was taken to L D S hospital hospi-tal Friday morning for examination examina-tion of possible lung Injuries suffered suf-fered when he Inhaled sulphur dioxide fumes from a refrigerator tank he was dismantling. The accident occurred In the basement boiler room at the Bransford apartments, 103 E. South Temple, . shortly after 9:30 ajn. Joe A. Austin, 67. 1143 E. 4th South, who was working alongside along-side Mr. Black, was taken to the Salt Lake clinic for first aid treatment treat-ment to his eyes, both of which were Inflamed from effects of the gas fumes. Mr. Austin said he and Mr. ' Black were taking the refrigerator tank apart to obtain nuts and bolts to use on another machine when the refrigerant gas, which they assumed had been released, escaped es-caped when they loosened bolts os the tank. |
