Show All 4-H Members Await Honors Al Taylorsville TATLORSVILLE All 14 members mem-bers of' the Taylorsville 4-H club for boys will be honored at the annual achievement program to be held at p.m. Friday at the home of Fred Barker. 4984 S. Redwood rd., with the presentation of certificates cer-tificates by Club Director J. Re Mackay for completion of 1946 projects. Dale Ganinger, 16, son of Mr. . and Mrs. Claude Garringer, will receive the Thomas E. Wilson gold medal awarded for raising the outstanding out-standing meat animal of Salt Lake county and Robert Holland, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Holland, Hol-land, will receive the Earl D. Dan-forth Dan-forth award for outstanding qualities quali-ties of leadership. He was president presi-dent of the club during the year. First, second and third place awards for sugar beet raising In the county will be presented by Arthur Eakelsen. representing the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co., to Ralph Mackay, 17. son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rex Mackay; Richard Brlen-holt Brlen-holt 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. War-ren War-ren Brienholt and Fred Flnlayson, 16. son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Flnlayson. Fln-layson. The livestock Judging team, - . which placed first at the county fair and third at the state fair, will also receive awards. |
