Show LARGE FEE FOR THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE : . The largest fee in the history of the Sheriff's office for the service of a civil summons Is that reported In the case of Willard Hansen against 141 members of the Utah Wool-Growers' association. The summons was received at the Sheriffs office on Monday and by Friday Fri-day night forty-seven members of the association had been perved, the work required the services of twelve of the deputies, as the members of the association were scattered throughout the country. The fees for service amounted to $47 with a mileage of $12. a total of $59. Twelve members of the association named in the complaint are either dead or out of the State. Summons Sum-mons on the complaint on members of the association who rertde outside of Salt Lake county, but who live in the State, have been sent to the Sheriffs of the counties in. which they reside. |
