Show ADJOURNMENT TO BE TO JANUARY 4TH WASHINGTON'. Dec. 9. When the House met today a concurrent resolution resolu-tion was adopted providing- that when the House and Senate adjourn on Wednesday, December 21, It be until January 4, 1905. The House then went into committee of the whole, further considering- the legislative, executive and Judicial appropriation ap-propriation bill. When the adjournment adjourn-ment was taken yesterday the discussion discus-sion was on the amendment of Mr. Hepburn (Iowa), cutting off appropriations appropria-tions for the Civil Service commission. By a viva voce vote the amendment vas lost. |
