Show ONE MORE TEAM OUT Leading Riders In Cycle Race Are Far Behind the Record. . NEW YORK, Dec S. Another team, the Sulkins-Rockowlts combination, withdrew from the six-day bicycle race today, leaving leav-ing only ten teams of the eighteen who started away on the long Journey at midnight mid-night Sunday. They simply got tired of the hopeless grind and as day was break. Ing gave up the struggle. At the time they were nearly 100 miles behind the leaders, so that their retirement will have no bearing bear-ing on the result. The riding during the night was a steady pace, with occasional sprints. At t o'clock, after 104 hours of tiding, the leading teams were 240 miles behind the record eetab-llshed eetab-llshed by Miller and Walter in 1899. The standing at that hour was as follows: . Mile.
