OCR Text	Show . S. P. DRAWBRIDGE ! WILL REDUCE TIME SACRAMENTO. CaL, Dec. 9. Plans far bridging Carquinese straits, perfected per-fected by the Southern Pacific, are In the hands of Col. W, H. Heuer of San ' Francisco for transmission to the War department for approval or rejection. The bridge Is planned to span the straits from the Nevada dock to Fifth street, Benicla. It will be a drawbridge over a mile In length and will reduce the running time between Sacramento and San Francisco thirty minutes.
