Show PIijs. Education, Recreational Institute Saturday For Region Three Educators All Teachers And Others Interested In Health and Phys. Ed. Invited; Will Be Held In Lincoln High School Ail Health, physical education and recreation instructors, instruc-tors, along with principals and assistants, are expected to attend the Physical Education and Recreation Institute fnr Region Three, to be held at the Lincoln High School at Orem Saturday, Sat-urday, February 28. Parlell Peterson, chairman of the association, has announced that plans are completed for the institute and that the theme will be: A correlated health, physical education and recreation program in the schools. I Edwin R. Kimball of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University will treat I the topic, "Can a Physical Fitness Program in the Sojiool Replace Compulsory Military Training in Peace Time." Others listed to par-, ticipate on the program include Dr. Bernice Moon of the University Univer-sity of Utah; A. P. Warnick, principal prin-cipal of the Lincoln higTi school; Leo Hansen, assistant superintendent superintend-ent of the Alpine school district. Lee Liston, president of the state ' association, will also be a speaker. All teachers and others interested inter-ested in health and physical edu cation from Provo, Alpine, Nebo, Juab and Tintic districts and BY High school are urged to attend. Dinner will be served at noon and reservations may be made with Mr. Peterson. |
