Show SUCCESS MARKS WEIGHT REUNION With approximately 180 relatives rela-tives assembled, the mid-winter reunion of the descendants of Fredrick Weight was conducted in the Fourth ward Friday evening. eve-ning. Decorations were suggestive of Washington's birthday, with cherry cher-ry trees arranged in the windows and hatchets and other emblems used on the dining tables and in other details. Cecil Maynard was master of ceremonies and it was announced during the evening that the summer sum-mer reunion would be held on July 31 and August 1, the place to be announced later. Mrs. Mary Weight, Mrs. Wilda Oakley, and Cecil Maynard were in charge of the program; Creed, Fred and R. G. Weight, the hall arrangements; Mrs. Lucille Weight and Eldean Weight, decorations; Mrs. Lenore Randall and Miss Norma Weight, finances. i |
