Show IMMUNIZATION FOR TYPHOID TO GET UNDERWAY MARCH 2 A typhoid fever immunization program is to be carried out in Springville for all pre-school and school age children and adults, according ac-cording to announcement by Miss Maria Johnson, district public health nurse. The immunizations will be given at the high school beginning on next Tuesday, March 2 and will be given a week apart on March 9 and 16. The immunizations will be given in the elementary grade schools, beginning on March 30 and continue on April 6 and 13, first at ' the Jefferson then the Grant and Lincoln schools. In as much as the immunizations immuniza-tions were not given last year, practically everyone will need the full three shots, the nurses point out. v There will be a small fee of 25 cents charged for the shots or $1 for a family of four or more. Adults as well as children may receive the immunizations. For other details, townspeople may contact the school district nurses, Miss Johnson and Mrs. Leona Curtis. |
