Show SPRINGVILLE MAN INTERESTED IN RADIO STATION A radio station owned and backed by four Provo and Springville Spring-ville people went on the air at 8 a. m. yesterday in Grand Junction, Colo., representing an initial capital capi-tal outlay of $43,000, according to the management. - The station, designed to serve western Colorado, has the following follow-ing officers: D. Spencer Grow, Provo, president; Erwin L. Sheffield, Shef-field, Springville, secretary, and Dr. Lloyd Cullimorej Mrs. D. Spencer Grow and Thomas A. King, all of Provo, as the other three members of the board of directors. Call letters of the new station are KEXO. It is organized as the Voice of Western Colorado, Inc. Mr. Grow said new studios have been built at Grand Junction. The station will be on the air 18 hours a day. Manager of the station is Abbott Tessman of New York and Hollywood, who came to his new post from the American Ameri-can Broadcasting company. ' |
