Show FARMERS TO BE ASSISTED BY ATOMIC ENERGY Dr. Paul Aebersold, a member of the U. S. atomic energy commission commis-sion reports that farmers will be aided by research in atomic energy this year. Aebersold, chief of the isotopes branch of the commission, said that tracer or "tagged" atoms are being used now in investigation of plant disorders, plant growth and livestock. He said that although atomic energy is "tremendous as a destructive de-structive force" it also must be considered as a big force in regard to the social, moral and spiritual influences it will have." |
