Show Sweetheart Social Sponsored y Jaycees, roues delightful The Springville Junior Chamber of Commerce held their annual Sweetheart Social, with their wives as guests, at the Chicken Roost on Wednesday evening of the past week. . 5 J A floor show, featuring a dance number by Elaine Anderson and Dale Law, and a number by Coleen Collins, accompanied by Kenneth Perry, was furnished from the B. -y. U. The remainder of the program was made up of impromptu stunts, short talks, toasts, recordings and vocal numbers presented by Don Humphrey, Wallace Patrick, Clarence Clar-ence Smith, Dr. C. A. King, Grant Thorn, Ernest and Evelyn Boyer. Bob Spratt was master of cere- orts monies for the delightful enter- s ttainment. civi- A steak dinner was served to oca! those present in cabaret style. The viir tables were prettily decorated with it individual floral bouquets in pul miniature vases, and these were ; c-later presented as favors to the '."'adies. Jaycee Wives, Mrs. Marie Rad-" Rad-" cliff e and Mrs. Harriet Miner, were in charge of the decorations. A highlight of the evening and a surprise feature was presentation presenta-tion of a souvenir, comprising an ash tray made from the first run at Geneva Steel, to Ray Klauck, ki; president of the Jaycee club, and va, to Grant Thorn. The presentation was made by Jake Labadie, an old-timer Jaycee, who, with Mrs. La-;lc' La-;lc' badie and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bun-&i Bun-&i nell of Provo, were special guests i0- of the evening.
