Pineapple-Nut Refrigerator Cake 2Vi cups Graham crackers 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup crushed pineapple 1 egg beaten y-z cup butter 3 teaspoonfuls cream cup sugar. Cream butter and sugar and add egg, salt, cream and pineapple. Line refrigerator pan with waxed paper. Cover bottom of pan with cracker crumbs about -inch thick." Put in three or four table-spoonfuls table-spoonfuls pineapple mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Repeat twice more with layer of pineapple mixture and layer of crumbs. Cover with waxed paper and chill in refrigerator 24 hours. Serve with whipped cream. Recipe serves about 8 people. |
