Show Wins Prize . . . -: ; V Miss Patricia Ann Larson of Cedar City, Utah, who won the Third Prize in the High School and Preparatory School Students-group in the Essay Contest, commemorating the Swedish Pioneer Centennial, sponsored by the Swedish American Line, spent- three days in New York as a guest of the Line. The Third Prize was either $200 in cash or a trip to New York, with all expenses paid. Miss Larson picked the trip to New York and arrived by air from her hometown, Wednesday, June 30, just in time to participate in the climax of the centennial cen-tennial celebrations the grand banquet at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria, Waldorf-Astoria, given in honor of the official Swedish delegations, headed by Prince Bertil. Miss Larson was one of the eighteen winners in the Essay Contest on the subject of "The Influence of Swedish Settlers on a Community or Region." After three days of sightseeing, broad way shows, a showing of a just finished film on the three Scandinavian countries, lunches and dinners and also a tour of the Line's new motorship "Stockholm," which was in port during her visit, Miss Larson returned to Cedar City.
