Show INCREASE SEEN IN SCHOOL-AGE BOYS AND GIRLS Kindergarten Classes Close With Total Enrollment Over 200 The largest group of six-year-olds in the history of Springville will enroll in the First grades here this fall judging from the number who will complete kindergarten Friday. Six kindergarten classes have been conducted during the past six weeks with an average enrollment enroll-ment of 34 students making a total enrollment of more than 200 boys and girls. At least 225 First graders are expected to enter school for the first time in the fall representing an increase of about 50 children this age. If the new' elementary grade school near Brookside is completed, com-pleted, the problem of space will be solved but in case the school is not ready for the opening, just where these young people will be "schooled" will be a question. Last year there were four First grades and this year an additional grade with a larger enrollment in each seems inevitable. |
