Show Spanish Fork Favored Over Springville Fri Springville High School's Red Devils will attempt to do what no other Nebo clu-b has yet done this year defeat the league-leading Spanish Fork Dons and on the Don's o'wn floor, this Friday night. Whether they can do the unexpected unex-pected will remain to be seen, but the odds are in favor of the home team in Friday's Nebo attraction. Unpredictable, the Red Devils may surprise even the most ardent followers, and turn- the tables on the southern foe. However, plenty of height and scoring ability and tactics for Spanish may prove otherwise. At least locals fans are anticipating a close game. Springville has had a whole week to rest up aj bit from the sport, and also prepare for the important im-portant league encounter. The Devils have had litle success in the past few years against the Gus Black machine and will have its hands full again- this year. Game time is set for 8 p. rn., and will be preceded by the customary Sophomore game at 6:30 p. m. Tickets for the game went on sale here early Tuesday morning and were swallowed up inside of 15 minutes, with a long line left without with-out ducats. Payson travels to Tintic in the other Nebo game. |
