Show Playoff Looms in M Men Race Between 6th and 2nd. Stake Winner Will Enter District 6 Meet; Final Gaines Set Tonight Sixth Must Win Over Mapleton Tonight To Gain Right For Playoff; Awards To Be Given After Tonight's Games Kolob Slake M Men will wind up regular league play here tonight witk three games scheduled, hut will, in all probability, find two teams ending in a deadlock for first : with 15, were high scorers for Sixth. Teasdale continued his high scoring v with 13 points for the Third. Ray Black and his Fifth Ward teammates easily defeated Mapleton, 44-26. Black counted 21 points. Playoff Monday . . . Despite the fact that Second has defeated Sixth twice in regular league play, these two teams will have ended up with a 10 wins and two losses, provided -the favored Sixth wins over Mapleton. If the playoff is necessary, it will be held Monday night at 8 p. m., in the high school gym. The winner will go into the District 6 M Men tournament tour-nament which starts here next Wednesday. Lost Week's Results . . . Second found things a bit tough against the smooth - working Fourth Warders in their game last Thursday. Fourth took over scoring scor-ing duties early in the game and continued to lead at halftime, 10 to 8. , By the end of the third quarter quar-ter Second had taken over the lead at the third quarter, and continued to hold onto it to win the game, 29-24. . Childs, Stanger and Crandall Cran-dall were again the big guns for Second. Cranmer and Clark were best for the losers. After a slow start in the first quarter, Sixth came to life in the second and third quarters to completely com-pletely dominate play against the Third Ward and go on to win 43-34. 43-34.
