Logan, who took first place honors in the recent Cover Girl contest sponsored by the Springville American Legion Posts No. 28 ad 46. Miss Holfeltz will be honored during the state basketball tournament here, February 26, 27, 28. Lula Jean Holfellz, daughter of Mrs. Lula M. Logan, was this week announced as tlie winner of llie Cover Girl contest sponsored by llie American Legion Posts No. 28 and No. 46, wlio will be featured fea-tured in several events in connection with the stale American Legion basketball tournament to be staged in Springville, February 26, 27, and 28. A senior at the Springville high school, Miss Holfeltz won over a large group of contestants who submitted their pictures at ' the opening of the contest some time ago. Acting as judges were I Finley Roylance, Vayne. Zobell and Bob Hillis. In addition to having her picture on the 3-day programs for the tournament, the winner will have the honor of presenting the trophy to the outstanding player of the tournament, and will also ' make the presentation to the team exhibiting outstanding sportsmanship sportsman-ship during the tournament. She, with her partner, will be guests of the Leg! on at all tournament games. ' Miss Holfeltz takes an active part in high school affairs and is J especially interested in music, art and dramatics. |
