Show STARS SCHEDULED FOR UNIVERSITY DRAMA FESTIVAL Three top-flight Broadway stars have been secured for the annual May Drama Festival at the University Uni-versity of Utah. Blanche Yurka, Francis Reid and Phillip Bourneuf, all prominent promi-nent on the New York stage, will come to the U to perform in "All My Sons" and "Arms and the Man." Dr. C. Lowell Lees, head of the speech department, will direct di-rect both plays. "All My Sons" will play in Kingsbury hall on May 6, 7 and 8. Written by Arthur Miller, it won the Drama Critics award for being the best play of 1947. "Arms and the Man" is slated for Kingsbury hall May 13, 14 and 15. It is a Shaw comedy that has been delighting audiences for a long time. This is the second year of the May Drama Festival. Last year, three plays were presented: Kath-erine Kath-erine Cornell in "Barretts of Wim-pole Wim-pole Street," Orson Wells in "Macbeth" "Mac-beth" and Judith Evelyn in "Joan of Lorraine." |
