All feel that more efficiency can be had and will result in better working conditions for the men. The city council 1 also voted in favor of the Junior Chamber of Commerce taking over the Fourth of July celebration. The city will also pay for prizes offered during the day and for the band. Announcement is further made by members of the council coun-cil that bicycle tags are here and available to all bicycle . owners. The tags are a sealed lock plate which will be hard to remove from the wheel. Besides being a registration number, the tags will serve as an identification. Cards will be kept under an index system so that bicycles can more easily be identified. The registration fee is 50 cents and all bicycle owners will be expected to purchase a tag, beginning Monday morning, May 3, at the city police office, where Zenos Manwaring will be in charge. |
