Show NEW FERTILIZER NOW AVAILABLE Full-scale operation of Mineral Fertilizer Company, of Midvale, is reported by Frank Gunnell, Salt Lake, general manager. The products pro-ducts of this company are now available to all farmers and agricultural agri-cultural producers of Utah and Southern Idaho through the 31 branches and warehouses of Utah Poultry and Farmers' Co-operative, who have been asked to serve as distributors, Mr. Gunnell reports. Adequate supplies of fer-tlizer fer-tlizer are stocked in all of these plants. Mineral Fertilizer Company was first organized a year ago. The operation of the Midvale plant is expected to relieve partially the shortage of certain grades of mixed mix-ed commercial fertilizers which are considered especially suitable for this area x "Western soils," explained Mr. Gunnell, "are generally deficient in nitrogen as well as phosphate, and therefore respond better to the application of a mixture of the two elements in varying proportions propor-tions for specific crops than to applications ap-plications of either of two alone. Mineral Fertilizer Company has been fully aware of this fact in developing a diversified line of mixed fertilizers. AH products are acid-treated to increase their efficiency." |
