' I Miss Peggy Crandall Peggy Crandall Engaged To Wed , S.Jack Childress In Dec. 22 Rites i Adding a note of interest to the holiday season, will be the marriage mar-riage of Miss Peggy Crandall, charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Crandall, who will exchange vows with S. Jack Childress, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Childress, 1601 Laird Avenue, Salt Lake City. ' News of the engagement and approaching marriage was made known this week as the couple made plans for a December 22nd ceremony cere-mony to take place in the Third-Ninth ward church. A number of . pre-nuptial events are being arranged for the couple including a trousseau tea for the bride-elect to be given on December 16, at her parents'' home. Parents of Mr. Childress are giving a rehearsal dinner at the Ambassador club in Salt Lake City December 21. , , Immediately following the ceremony, members of the wedding party, the two families and close friends will be guests at a reception at the church. Miss Crandall, a teacher in Tooele, is a graduate of the Utah Agricultural College, Logan, where she majored in speech correction, and was affiliated with the Sigma Kappa sorority. She also attended the Brigham Young University and was enrolled with the Phi Chi Thetas. Mp. Childress is a senior at the University of Utah, majoring in business. He attended th Utah Agricultural College at Logan and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. Following their marriage, they plan to make their home in Tooele. |
