Show Sterling L Price Named Head Of Local Chamber of Commerce Sterling E. Price, prominent civic worker and immediate past president of Greater Utah Valley, Inc., was elected president of the Springville Chamber 1 of Commerce when election ballots were counted Tuesday evening. He will take over his new responsibilities responsi-bilities in January, succeeding Arvil Bird, who has served the past year. Other new officers elected include': in-clude': David Friel, vice-president; Mays Anderson. Reed Averett, Taylor Burt, J. Melvin Duke and Earl Groesbeck, 2-year directors'. George Bird, Kay Johnson. Grant Nielson and Dean Stewart are the new directors. Arvil Bird, retiring president, will be held over as director di-rector for the coming year.
