Show Kiwanis To Hear Program On Canada Tonight It will be Canadian good-will night Thursday, at the Kiwanis club meeting to be held at the Chicken Roost at 7 p.m., under the direction of President H. M. Weight. Students from the BYU will furnish the entire program consisting consist-ing of 2-minute talks and musical numbers. Glenn W. Coffman is toastmaster. The local clubmen were hosts last Saturday to 231 Kiwanians and their partners who came from over the state to attend the annual Art banquet and to tour the high school Art Exhibit. J. C. Moffitt, superintendent of Provo city schools, was the guest speaker dwelling on the aesthetic value of art. Don Humphrey entertained en-tertained with a vocal number, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Pauline Boyer; Gordon Childs, a violin number, accompanied by Douglas Childs. The painting, a beautiful landscape land-scape by Oliver Parsons, given as an attendance prize, went to Mrs. Taylor of Park City. |
