Whiting publican nomination of the office of Utah County Recorder. Mrs. Whiting was born and reared in Springville, and is the daughter of Flora H. and the late Owen McKenzie. Mrs. Whiting is a property owner own-er and taxpayer in Utah County, and at the present time is a deputy dep-uty in the Utah County Treasurer's Treasur-er's office. She has had several years good business experience, having worked for Dixon Taylor Russell Company and has had other bookkeeping and accounting experience. , Mrs. Whiting is Vice Chairwoman Chairwom-an of the Third District in Spring-villle, Spring-villle, and is a member of the Woman's Wo-man's Legislative Counsel of Utah 1 County. She is active in civic and church affairs, and at the present is secretary sec-retary of the Third ward Y.W. M.I.A. Mrs. Whiting and her daughter reside in Springville.
